It was difficult for me to find a wedding photographer; I wanted someone who would capture excellent candid photos because my husband and I are shy in front of a camera. She was authentic through the entire process. She has a way of blending into the chaos and finding who, when, where, and what needs to be photographed. Corryn is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I were very particular about how we wanted the photos to look. We looked at many photographers in the Orlando area and once we saw Corryn's portfolio we knew we wanted her! We did an engagement shoot before the wedding to get acquainted and she made us feel completely comfortable. When the wedding rolled around she was there to capture all the wonderful moments without ever being intrusive. She is so creative and could see the potential in certain locations that I would never have thought would look good, but they turned out to be some of our favorite photos! I had a few qualifications when looking for a wedding photographer. The main one was this: when my photog captured images, she must be able to capture someone's soul. This is what drew me to Corryn. Her photos emanate life. The utmost joy and the deepest longings I felt on my wedding day carried through my pictures, as well as those of my guests. While a photo can never BE a person, it should be a representation of WHO they are, not just what they look like.
On a more tangible level, Corryn has flexible photo packages so I wasn't stuck revisiting her site every time I needed a new print. She was the perfect chameleon on the day -- giving directions where they were needed and slipping about invisibly when the moment called for it. Her sweet voice cajoled even more difficult guests to cooperate, and because she is experienced, she did not waste precious time setting up intricate shots. Everything flowed naturally and beautifully.
